About the Forum TURKISTAN – 2026
At a time when the pace of technological change is outstripping the ability of traditional financial institutions to adapt, industry events such as CAFBF-2026 are becoming increasingly important for shaping a sustainable regional financial architecture.
The Second Central Asian Financial and Banking Forum “Banks and Fintech – 2026” (CAFBF-2026) will become a key platform for interaction among banks, fintech companies, regulators, investors, and technology leaders.
The Forum is organized by the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the banking associations of Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Tajikistan, with the support of the Council of Banking Associations of Turkic States.
The main objective of the Forum is to create an effective business platform for participants of the financial and banking market and to expand integration processes among the countries of Central Asia, the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization), the OTS (Organization of Turkic States), the Caspian region, and the European Union.

Reviews
Akylzhan Baimagambetov
Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan
“Our goal is to maintain leading positions in the region and ensure sustainable development.
We hope that the Central Asian Forum will become an effective platform for professional dialogue.
It is the rapid growth of technological maturity among regulators that will give a new impetus to the digital development of the entire industry.”
Sanzhar Zhamalov
General Director of Mastercard in Kazakhstan and Central Asia
“We are very pleased to be at the first Central Asian Forum Banks and Fintech – 2025, where Mastercard serves as the general partner.
We actively participate in industry events that contribute to the development of the digital economy in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia.”
Binur Zhalenov
Head of Digital Transformation, Advisor to the Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan
“Each fraud case is unique. The bank is not always at fault.
We have increased the requirements for banks, and if they do not meet these requirements, they will not compensate the funds.
This includes the presence of anti-fraud systems within second-tier banks, specialized departments, and a comprehensive risk management system.”
Madina Tukulova
Chairwoman of the Association of Islamic Finance and Business, Head of Islamic Finance at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC)
“…Research has shown that Kazakhstan will become a leader in the development of Islamic finance.
Actions are required from market participants. Events such as our Forum enable us to implement this strategy.
There is strong demand for Islamic financial products in Kazakhstan.”
